The project "Improvement of Human Resources in the Municipality of Bač", which is funded by the European Union under the Exchange 3 Programme and jointly implemented by the Municipality of Bač, as the developer, and the City of Sombor as a partner, is coming to an end.

This is the final, 15^th month of implementation, and it is possible now to speak about the results achieved during the implementation. In this respect, project manager, Anna Pecnik, said that the final conference of the project is scheduled for 16 December 2011, and all other project activities are successfully implemented, and on time.

One of recently completed activities on the project was the training of employees of the Municipal Administration of Bač for writing and preparing project proposals according to procedures and standards of the European Union, as well as introduction of the most important calls that are financed by donors and EU funds. The training was successfully attended by 12 employees of the Municipal Administration, 23 lectures were held, and 14 consultations with experts appointed by the City of Sombor. During practical work with the trainees they prepared three concrete proposals with which the Municipality of Bač will be able to apply for foreign funds in future.

Mayor of Bač, Mr. Tomislav Bogunović, pointed out that these forms of professional development and training of employees are of great importance, especially now when donor funds are increasingly available, as they allow that in the institution there are employees trained to prepare quality project proposals that promote community, development and bring multiple benefits.
